2026 v2 Release Notes
New Features
The Next Era of Val Nav is Here!
Introducing Val Nav SaaS: the most complete evaluation and reserves platform, now available as a fully managed cloud service. In the new offering, Quorum handles the hosting, upgrades, security, and 24/7/365 monitoring for the same application, workflows, and data model you trust.
Deployed using Quorum's best practices, Val Nav SaaS runs at peak performance so your forecasts and economic runs finish sooner. Your result sets are analytics-ready and shareable across the enterprise from the moment you migrate, powered by Quorum's new corporate data platform.
It's the platform your team knows, becoming the foundation for AI-driven evaluation and reserves to come. Learn more about Val Nav SaaS Here (Link: https://info.quorumsoftware.com/ValNavSaasMigration)
Quorum Data Platform Integration
Share results with your organization through the new Quorum Data Platform from Val Nav SaaS deployments, giving your company a single place to access data from your Val Nav project. Your teams can work with forecast, reserves, and economics results alongside other enterprise data without exporting, reformatting, or reloading files. Because the data is shared directly, analysts, data scientists, and reporting tools already working in Databricks can use it as soon as it is published.
You control what is shared from Val Nav. Use the new Data Platform Configuration dialog to select the plans, scenarios, and jurisdictions to be published to the data platform. This lets you limit the enterprise data set to the results you intend to share, rather than everything in the database.
Note: Only users with the Manage Tables permission can open the dialog and change these selections.
Enhancements
Updated the decline toolbar to disallow editing the four input fields: Input Mode, Type Well Lookup, Forecast Anchor, Anchor Activity Date.
Updated a third party component of the Map to a newer version.
Introduced optionality to control forecast and economic calculations independently in the Batch Manager.
